Bio

Daughter of Jerry and Debra wood, Carrie has a provincial silver and two back to back gold medals for D2 high school soccer. She was MVP in her grade 12 year on the high school basketball team and play on numerous teams throughout her high school career.


In her final year of under 18 indoor soccer she lead the league in shutouts representing Valley United. She represented her school in grade 8, as the female athlete of the year through NSSAF.She was a second team All-Star in her fourth year and is in her fifth and final year of her bachelor of science in biology specializing in marine biology.


Carrie volunteer coaches in her community with local soccer and volleyball teams.
She has gone down to Honduras on a volunteer trip to help build sanitation stations in a poor community helping to better their quality of life.


She is also a lover of all animals and in her spare time can be found with her horse or fulfilling her Tim Horton’s addiction.
