Swim Team tryouts and training times
The Acadia Varsity Swim Team will be having open tryouts starting on Sept 3rd. This 2 week tryout period will be used to determine who qualifies to be a member of the Acadia Swim Team. Swimmers should attend all workouts during this time period.

The Acadia Varsity Swim Team will be having open tryouts starting on Sept 3rd. This 2 week tryout period will be used to determine who qualifies to be a member of the Acadia Swim Team. Swimmers should attend all workouts during this time period. Swimmers trying out for the team should have a fairly extensive background in competitive swimming. Team selection will be based on ability (Best Times), work ethic, a potential for improvement, training background and commitment to the team's training program. There are no set time standards to make the team but we are limited because we have a 6 lane pool. Our first practice will begin on Sept 3rd. Please meet at the pool level at 5:20 pm. The tryouts will take place for approximately 2 weeks ( Sept 3rd- Sept 14th ). Welcome to our tryout, it should be an exciting season and best of luck.
