Acadia's Comeau and Foran to attend CFL Invitational Combine
The Acadia Axemen football program will be well represented at the 2025 CFL Invitational Combine, as fourth-year linebacker Riley Comeau and long snapper Cameron Foran have received invitations to showcase their talents at the event. Comeau, a Centreville native, and Foran, hailing from Port Williams, will have the opportunity to compete against top prospects from across Canada in hopes of earning a spot at the CFL Combine in Regina from March 21 to 23.
The CFL Invitational Combine will take place on February 28 at the University of Waterloo’s Feridun Hamdullahpur Field House. This event serves as a crucial opportunity for draft-eligible players to prove themselves in front of CFL scouts, with standout performers earning an invitation to join the league’s top-ranked prospects in Regina.
At the CFL Invitational Combine, participants will undergo extensive testing, including the 40-yard dash, bench press, and other key drills. Those who impress CFL coaches and evaluators will move on to the CFL Combine, where they will engage in practice sessions, one-on-one drills, and positional group work led by CFL coaching staff.
In 2024, eight players advanced from the Invitational Combine to the CFL Combine, with five ultimately being selected in the CFL Draft.
