WOLFVILLE, N.S. – Acadia University and Axemen Basketball head coach Kevin Duffie announced today the addition of standout recruit, Mason Middaugh, from London, Ont.

A 6'6" swingman who recently played at the RISE Prep in Brantford Ontario, Middaugh captured a bronze medal at OFSAA AA Basketball Championship in 2016 with Pope John Paul II Catholic Secondary School in London.

Middaugh also played for the perennial power house CIA Bounce club team on the NIKE EYBL AAU circuit under Acadia assistant coach Luc Stevenson.

Duffie is thrilled with the commitment by Middaugh as he brings great size, skill and athleticism to a veteran team with lots of rotational players returning.

"We are really excited to add a player of Mason's caliber to the Axemen. We think he will have an immediate impact to our group", said Duffie
